It’s a given that I’m welded to my Sisley lip balm for it’s amazing hydrating properties and the hard-to-find formula that doesn’t assume I want my lips to taste of synthetic mint, vanilla or chocc-mocca-strawberry…yuk. But, tucked away at the back of my cupboard, I discovered a tube of Good Skin Megabalm Ultra Soothing Lip Treatment, 7.50 pounds, that goes a long way to equalling Sisley. Flavourless, with a great consistency that actually stays on lips and gives a good gloss, and does a fantastic job of keeping lips exceptionally smooth. It’s made me wonder about the packaging of this brand – it seems too quiet to draw the attention it deserves (I also love the Good Skin Exfoliator) – and while I’m totally over the whole Benefit lets-call-it-a-funny-name packaging – there has to be some middle ground. It’s at Superdrug.
