Ok, we can’t stay in denial for ever, so to really bring it home that STILA are pulling out of the UK for now, they’re holding a sample sale with oodles of products at greatly reduced prices. It’s on Tuesday 30th June, 1.30 til 7.30pm (unless they sell out before that) at 43-45 Portman Square, London W1.

Somehow I’m not surprised, there have been some recent signs that something was amiss with Stila. They seem to have sale after sale on their US website, discounting like crazy. Then the site was down for “maintenance” for weeks on end. It’s rapidly been disappearing from stores here, and then it was announced a few weeks ago that a private equity firm had acquired the company. My main concern is not that Stila will be permanently withdrawn from the UK, so much as that it might not survive at all.
ohh is the sale open to the public??
