Lancome Autumn/Winter 09: First Look

I absolutely love the vivid blue hues in Lancome’s next collection coming out later in the summer. Called ‘Declaring Indigo’ it’s all loosely based on The French Revolution and features a cross-section of brilliant, bold shades and muted, subtle shimmers. Favourite items include the Virtuose Mascara – a deep indigo lash top coat sprinkled with gold shimmer, the Limited Edition Palette Liberte, and golden powder, Rose Liberte. Just like all French descriptions of beauty products, there’s a flourish of fancy descriptions in the glossy release, and of course, embellished reference to the obligatory ‘free spirited woman in touch with her femininity’!
