Skin Redness: Clinique To The Rescue

Flushing, rosacea or generally reactive skin seems an increasingly common problem – or maybe it’s that there is an increasing range of solutions that has brought it to the fore. I went last week to a launch by Clinique of Redness Solutions Instant Relief Mineral Powder. I don’t suffer from redness myself, but their entire Redness Solutions range is loved by my mum, who does. The powder is super-impressive – a yellow colour, and soft as feathers and introduces make up to the skincare range. Caffeine, magnolia bark and a mushroom extract (Poria Cocos to be precise!) are key players alongside natural minerals. The brush is developed using anti-bacterial technology for extra cleanliness. What’s most interesting about this powder however, is that each partical is suspended in air and sprayed with a combination of minerals and anti-irritants. It’s truly at the forefront of skin care technology.
