Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

I’ve made the switch from tinted moisturiser now its a bit cooler back to foundation and I’m loving the texture and finish of Nars Sheer Glow. I don’t really like matte foundations…they’re a bit deadening to the complexion, but Sheer Glow has just the right amount of lustre to make skin look a little more alive and fresh. Its very fluid in consistency – a bit more fluid than I’m used to, so I’ve made the classic mistake of shaking the bottle downwards toward my palm and ending up with a handful! – but applied with fingers or a sponge (using the Sonya Kashuk one) it really does go on like a dream, and has great staying power. It’s also oil-free so no chance of rogue shine and gives a good amount of coverage. It reminded me of the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, only Sheer Glow is better. £29.
