The Balm For Keeps Watercolour Lipstains

Loving the look of these lip palettes that launch at Harvey Nichols in the first week of March. Apparantly, they are the first ever lipstains to start as a powder colour – you need to add water to activate, meaning more control over coverage and intensity. They’re £19 each, and you can pick from Petunia Pink/Raspberry Red or Plum Berry/Brown Sugar.

This reminds me of a very, very old CoverGirl lip product I had when I was very young – it was a powder and a wax, and you mixed them together to make a lip colour. Mine was fuscia. It didn’t look very good! These look much more interesting :)

  5. Lord – I remember those old powder lip colours. I thought they were a great idea. I think I had a frosty fuscia one too.

Now why did I think the Balm was a mid price range? Have the prices been specially jacked up for the UK?
