Ok, I’ve found my ultimate summer eye quad. The Ombre Eclat Ombre Perlees (limited edition) shades are perfect, perfect for me and wonderful for working the nude look without looking actually dead. Also love the sheerness of the lipshades: KissKiss Baby Limited Edition Nourishing Lip Balm Delicate Nudes, £20. I’m having a real Guerlain moment – loving just about everything that comes off the production line these days and if other brands have got their wits about them, they’ll be following suit. Pretty, embellished palettes with creative effort put in with wearable colours…illuminating powders that actually do make your skin glow…and sheer shade balms for soft and feminine lips. If anyone’s walking streets ahead of the colour brands, its them.
