Mary Cohr Precious Argan Oil Body Care

I was sent a sample of this blend or Argan and Passionflower body oil to try – and its an instant winner. For a start, the pressurised spray nozzle delivers just the right amount of oil in a controlable way making for the easiest application. The oil, boosted with ginseng extract, is gorgeously light and is very easy to work into the skin. I used it post self tan, when my skin always feels too dry, and it put back the suppleness back straight away. At £31, it’s quite a heavy outlay for a body moisturiser, but ten hours on from first application, my skin still feels soft and moisturised.

I like Argan oil anyway; I bought a huge bottle in Morocco recently for about £9, and use it often as an overnight hair conditioning treatment but have found it is quite hard to find in the UK at a reasonable price.

Looks good. Expensive though. I got some argan oil in Marrakesh for sunburn and I like the idea of it. As I remember it has something to do with goats and oil. Oh, dear. It’s all a bit hazy. Too expensive. I use Johnson’s baby lightoil mist.

So far my best Argan oil was from Mir Skincare (not cheap though).
I’m tempted by the Mary Cohr one (I still find oils messy and the spray-on form could make it easier).

  3. Yes but Mir’s is facial oil and this is body – nothing beats Mir’s Argan oil tis true!!

I’m in the states but I picked up at Sally’s Beauty ‘One n Only’ Argan Oil. It’s “derived” from Argan oil so it may not be what you’re looking for. I thought that maybe the Sally’s Beauty in the UK may have it? It was $8usd for 100ml.

Sorry, I think I wrote, “derived” from oil…make that “derived” from Moroccan Argan Trees. By the way, this does great things to my hair too:)
