Rapid Lash

Because I have lash extensions, I'm not able to test this product out. However, I have seen the results on someone, and quite frankly, she looked like actually needed to trim her lashes a bit, they'd grown so long! While Rapid Lash is late to the lash growth party, it does come in at a much more affordable price than most of the other formulations, at £39.99 at Boots (and I notice they have it on free home delivery at the moment), making a little bit more accessible. Using polypeptides, proteins, Panthenol and vitamins to condition lashes and promote growth, from what I've seen, the results are nothing short of wow! I've spoken to several users of lash growth promoting formulations and they all say that patience is key. You think nothing's happening for weeks and then suddenly, it all kicks in and your lashes start sprouting like weeds - maybe not the best analogy, but you know what I mean.

With any lash growth product there can be sensitivities. According to reports, Rapid Lash uses a prostaglandin derivative which can cause skin darkening on the lash line that fades over time, and is not, as yet an FDA approved ingredient. Obviously, if you have any sensitivity, stop using it immediately, but all reports I've researched mark it as safe to use. You must bear in mind that any like products that claim to 'promote' growth, in fact have no medical ingredients that physically cause lashes to grow, despite links to glaucoma treatments. What they do have, however, is majorly potent conditioning and strengthening ingredients that allow lashes to blossom to their full potential.

Anyway, the bottom line of it all is that Rapid Lash absolutely does work.

I have just recently started using Rapid Lash and gosh the results are amazing, on my pitiful Asian lashes no less!

After a few weeks I thought, oh, nothing, but then.. wow it did work. You just have to be patient, I'd say look for results in 2-3 months. Of course then you are running out of the stuff..

I tried the L'Oreal version and found it useless, not least because of the unwieldy applicator. This at least has a sensible looking brush. I'm not put off by the idea of a little skin darkening round the lash line either - presumably that's just going to look like liner.

I'm on week 4 of testing it - and I've already started to notice a difference. I've used other lash extending serums before and although they worked, my lashes looked a bit erratic (some lashes grew really long, whilst others stayed same length) - but RapidLash seems to be growing them all at the same length and they already look so much thicker and longer.

Shameful plug I know, but we are giving away four tubes this week, if people want to try their luck - http://www.the-beauty-pages.com/breakingnews.php

Excellent post, this appears to be somewhat analogous to the prescription only Latisse; although obviously the major difference is one contains bimatoprost and the other (Rapidlash) contains a new compound with apparently some molecular similarity "isopropyl cloprostenate." Having read reports of a change in iris (!) colour by users of Latisse I'd definitely be more keen to try this!

I've been using this since May (?) I think and have started to see a difference only this week so it does take some time to work. Am going to give it another month before I post the results up but so far so good!

You can use it with eyelash extentions actually. I also have them and I've bought some Rapidlash today and will start using it tonight - I hope it works as after years of continual eyelash extensions my own ones are short, sparse and embarrasing! Wish me luck!

I have been using RL for a week and just wanted to ask if anyone else had experienced eyelash loss?! Just half-a-dozen or so when I'm washing my face at night, but nonetheless, it has only started since using the serum...I'm hoping it's only a passing phase. I am neither blessed nor cursed in the eyelash department but even so, really don't want to losing any if I can help it. Thanks!
