Edward Bess Sheer Satin Compact Foundation

I’m totally a fluid foundation person…can’t be bothered with minerals or stick or even compact foundations so the Edward Bess Sheer Satin Compact was a bit of a risk from the start. However, I’ve got to admit to being really impressed with the ease of use and the finish. I love the fact its got no discernable scent, the formula is very silky – light as air on the skin – and gives a light to medium coverage which is perfect for summer. It conceals minor imperfections with a finish that isn’t dewy exactly, and it isn’t matt either; it’s what I would call a natural skin finish. The most impressive thing however, is that my skin still feels moisturised at the end of the day, even when any coverage is starting to disappear. In a compact format, it’s much easier to do on-the-go foundation touch-ups – a benefit I hadn’t really considered before – but then, I’d never found a consistency in a compact that I could work with. It launches on Zuneta.com in September.

I can’t wait for this. Having seen it applied I can see it’s lightweight, a great formula and without a hint of cakiness which is all too often the case with compact foundation. Edward, you are my hero!!
