Meet The Doltz Sonic and Some Incredible Toothpaste!

Panasonic’s newest gadget is this whizzy little electric toothbrush and they’re selling by the bucketload in Japan. Disguised as a mascara in a selection of coloured tubes the toothbrush vibrates at 16,000 strokes a minute. Now, why you want to disguise your toothbrush as a mascara…particularly if you are a man..is anyone’s guess, but the fact that it is tiny and eminently portable makes me want one right now.

And while on the topic of oral hygiene, check out the new Breath Palette toothpastes, available in these amazing flavours:

Tropical Pine, Monkey Banana, Grapefruit, Blueberry, Kiwi, California Orange, Strawberry, Lightly Salted, Green Tea, Tsugaru Apple, Kyoto Matcha, White Peach, Kishu Plum, Grape, Green Tea, Rose, Vanilla, California Orange, Cola, Lavender, Grapefruit, Fresh Yoghurt, Honey, Cola, Vanilla, Caramel, Pumpkin Pudding, Dark Chocolate.

Not sure how I’d feel about a ‘Lightly Salted’ toothpaste. What’s your pick?

Oh god, that toothpaste boggles my mind. I just can’t possibly get my head around brushing my teeth with cola flavoured toothpaste. It’s all wrong!!!

…And yet I sort of want to try it?! Just once mind, like some kind of extreme taste challenge maybe.

  2. Rosario says:

The toothbrush is really cute and that’s good enough for me! The whole vibrates at 16,000 strokes a minute sounds kind of terrifying though. I’m not too sure about cleaning my teeth with pumpkin pudding or dark chocolate flavored toothpaste either…

  3. Flamante says:

how cool is that! i would choose rose and dark chocolate!!!
whats the price of the panasonic brush and also the toothpaste?

  4. want want want! those little toothbrushes are WAY cute and wow, good variety of flavors for toothpaste (tropical pine tho??? what the heck is that??) i want monkey banana (mmm, like ben & jerrys chunky monkey?), pumpkin pudding, caramel, vanilla, white peach, YUMMY!!! that sounds fab

  5. Louise-lesley says:

From someone who absolutely HATES mint, I am totally for these toothpastes!

    Although, lightly salted? Ew!

  6. I hate mint too – so I am definitely keen to try these! Which flavour? Hmmm. It’s still got to be refreshing and leave mouth feeling clean – I’m thinking subtle flavours like Grape or Green Tea could be good. Strangely compelled to try Dark Chocolate, Caramel, and Vanilla though… (must be the diet!!)

  7. Charlie says:

I want both things and I’d choose Lightly Salted, green tea and vanilla. mmm

  8. Erica Amina says:

I used the Breath Palette toothpastes when they first came out (a few years ago here in the States). They are pretty awesome but you need to throw out all of your notions of what toothpaste should taste like and don’t expect a minty clean mouth if you use one of the more exotic flavors like pumpkin, banana or green tea. But they are kinda wonderful and they don’t have nasty, unhealthy stuff in them like some toothpastes.

  9. une tasse says:

Grapefruit doesn’t sound so bad. But dark chocolate? Yuck

  10. Stephanie says:

Surely Kyoto Matcha and Green Tea are the same thing!

  11. Vicky says:

Very strange, yet I want to try them! Lush had toothpastes out a few years back, meant to make teeth whiter yet it was like cleaning teeth with pure salt-nasty!
