I really don’t enter for many awards at all – mostly I’m not sure they achieve anything much, but the Bloggies is a little bit different. For a start, its been going since 2001, way before blogs had got so main stream. Last year I was a runner up in the Best Topical Weblog – honestly, I was SO happy! It’s an international award, so nominations come in from all over the world. This year, they’ve included Beauty in the Fashion section (arghh!) so it’s Best Fashion or Beauty Weblog so you can see what I’m up against! I’d love to see an individual Beauty award section and the only way to achieve this is to pile in the beauty votes! So, at least, if you don’t vote for me, please do vote for another beauty blogger so we can make some noise.

I graduated from the London College of Fashion in July with a 1st class honours degree and unfortunately, amongst thousands, I am still unemployed. You can imagine the frustration I am feeling at the moment, but being a fellow beauty obsessive like yourself I read your blog fanatically and it always puts a little smile on my face. (Attempting to ‘Marble’ my nails has been one of my most recent highlights)
Not only do you deserve to win this award, you have been a big inspiration for many, including myself, to start writing their own beauty blogs.
