Jo Malone Dry Body Oils

It is ages since I smelled any Jo Malone at all, so I’d almost forgotten that very distinctive Jo Malone scent. It’s in all the fragrances: I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it is an undercurrent that allows you to identify it immediately as coming from that brand.

Anyway, I’ve just tried the soon to launch Dry Body Oil in English Pear & Freesia. Initially, it was just too floral for me (and that’s saying something) but it dried down to a beautiful, almost skin-scent that is absolutely lovely. The dry oils (it also comes in Lime, Basil & Mandarin, known as LBM at JM HQ apparantly, and interesting fragrance fact: the scent is 20 years old!) contain olive, kukui and macadamia-seed oils. Given those weighty moisturising components, the oil is incredibly light. Because it absorbs quickly, it’s a perfect summer choice for those who love body oils. I’ll definitely use up the whole bottle and probably very quickly, too.

The Dry Body Oils launch in June for £38 each.

Ooooh that must be mine! I’d get the Pear and Freesia one. My Mothership would love the LBM, as I got her the cologne for Christmas.
