Ever since No7 gave me a nail wheel I’ve been like a kid with a new toy. The more serious side is that it is giving my tattered nails a well-needed break. I’ve been able to do a load of swatching that otherwise would have taken days to do. The only thing I can’t test with the wheel is wear and tear, so you’ll have to understand that none of these polishes have gone through the rigours of constant typing damage! You can’t see the Nail Effects from Nails Inc properly in the bottles – the speckles are irridescent and actually very effective. They’ll come in green, blue and orange.
First up the No7 Stay Perfect polishes – on trend shades, a brilliant glossy finish and the swatches are one coat. One coat! My favourite is the 80′s shade of vibrant pink in Me! Me! Me! They are £7.50 each.

Love the No7 Nail Polish, I don’t know why i’ve never tried them, with the vouchers that Boots are constantly giving out they’d only be £2.50 each, bargain!

The Nails Inc special effects are a bit late to the game!! We already have Nfu.Oh flakes, GOSH flakes, Nubar 2010 and Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure (although that’s discontinued). But good on Nails Inc for catching up?

Are the No7 polishes dupes for ASDA George ones? I’m wearing a very similar colour in the George range now and the bottles are the same too… Does anyone know? They’re reaaaalllly good either way.

it’s called ‘Rainbow’, and just layers pieces of rainbow-reflecting foil onto the nail. really lovely.
