I really wondered if Peridot would live up to the hype and now I’ve had a chance to swatch it, I’ve got to say, yes it does. It’s an astonishing fusion of green and gold and catches the light to reflect every hue inbetween those shades as well. In sunlight, it’s mega-watt in reflective properties; in shade, it keeps a line of gold down the middle while looking green down the sides. Peridot is a very cleverly constructed colour.
