A Little Bit More On Lady Dior Palette

The bag that inspired this palette is the Lady Dior bag, specifically the Spring-Summer edition of clashing bright red tweed and blue canework motif. The canework pattern itself is inspired by Napoleon III chairs – who knew? Lady Dior bags shot to fame when Mrs Chirac gave one to Lady Diana who – in the way that we girls do about bags – fell in love with it, wore it everywhere and created a stampede to Dior stores. So the palette is kind of all about that. In fact, just writing about this is making me want to rush to the Dior store to nab a bag. I’m all about Chanel when it comes to bags so I’ve never actually owned a Dior one. (It’s okay Mr Bank Manager, I’m thinking of it as an *investment*, cough.)

There will be only 300 limited edition palettes and they’re exclusive to Selfridges from 1st July.

So pretty but I’m guessing it will be a crazy price – probably more than the Mitzah palette which costs £61.50!

I’m all about Chanel as well, but I have to say that I do love the Lady bag from Dior. I is on my list ;-) how long I have to wait for the bag, I don’t want to think about :-D
