I don’t have much luck with gel type peel-off masks – they never seem to peel off tidily and I hate picking random bits of dry stuff off my skin. But, ridiculous as it might seem, it appears I haven’t been doing it right. Despite the instructions to leave to dry for ten minutes or so it clearly isn’t long enough; I got distracted with a pedicure this evening and left the Radiance Revealing Peel Off Mask for at least half an hour and it peeled away in one, other than a tiny strand by my cheek.
It also seems that the bath is not the place to apply these peel-off masks – the steam stop them from drying so you could be steeping for hours at a time before you’re able to whip the mask off in one easy go.
Anyway, having finally, after all these years in beauty, mastered the peel-off, I can report that this one left my skin ultra, ultra soft and also looking really clean and brightened. It contains essential oils and fruit extracts to work on dullness and give it a boost. Box ticked.
It’s approximately £27.
