A recent discovery is the brand new Deep Sleep range from This Works, created by ex-Vogue Health & Beauty Director, Kathy Phillips, who is thoroughly nice. That always helps I think, if you know the person behind the brand is actually a likeable person. Anyway, she showed her range to a group of bloggers last week – and it was the night before I had to be up at 3.30am to catch a super-early flight so it got put to the test as soon as I got home.
The Deep Sleep Bath Soak, £22, is delicious – full of lavender, chamomile and vetivert infused salts that are pretty power packed: the smell is strong and soothing and makes you do that ‘aahhh’ thing when you get in the bath. I topped up my sleep chances for good measure with the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, £15, spritzed on my pillow and sure enough, I slept almost immediately. Obviously, not for that long because 3.30am in anyone’s book is cruel. There is also a Deep Sleep Heavenly Candle (but I’m never sure about sleeping with lit candles..I’m sure you are supposed to blow it out first or something sensible but if you’re catatonic it’s likely not to happen) and Sleep Balm.
Although so far those are the only two items I’ve tried (and there is some new skin care as well), I’d hand on heart recommend the Deep Sleep Bath Soak and Pillow Spray straight away.
£1.50 from each sale of Pillow Spray goes directly to Kid’s Company – another good reason to sleep well.

Any beauty products which help me sleep, or at least help to relax me before bed, are a good buy in my book. I nearly always sleep well after a nice hot bath anyway, but some lovely scented products in the water is just too good to pass up!
I love the sound of this range, you’ve made it sound so wonderful! I hope it works, i need to get some sleep.
Sounds like something I would like! Slept for 3 hours today and feel horrible, and it’s only the start of the day…
PS. I am still LOVING the Origins Peace of Mind I got from you the other day x
