So, while Selfridges are going all out for a white Christmas theme, Harrods have knocked out some serious sparkle with Swarovski Elements. And we all know that a few crystals doesn’t make the product better, but it can make it a lot prettier and more special. Crystal embellishment works much better on some products than others; it’s the lipstick on a pig theory… but anyway, focusing on three products that I do think look rather more beautiful for having a bit of twinkle on them, my favourite is the Lancome Mascara. What do you think about paying more for a bit of bling?

The mascara is beautiful but it’s my least favourite blingy item- seeing as you’ll have to throw it out in a few months! I like the high beam and eyeshadow palette though, you can keep and display them for as long as you like!

I like the bling, but really can’t see the point of paying extra for it unless it’s something you’re planning on whipping out in public (like a powder compact!)
