I spend easily more time than I should on the iMomoko and Sasa sites looking for new products to try. iMomoko is where I bought my hand mask from and I was pretty pleased with that. The sheet mask concept isn’t yet readily accepted in the UK, but I think 2012 could be when they really start to filter through as a more commonplace thing. I’ve already been contacted by a couple of brands who specialise in sheet masks so I’m looking forward to trying them out.

Because most of us are more used to the traditional cream masks, sheets are quite a strange concept; personally, I find they take some getting used to. For a start, they feel cold on your face, second you aren’t nearly as mobile in a sheet as you are with a cream mask and thirdly, they seem to leave my skin a little bit dry. I don’t yet quite have the faith in them that I do with regular masks.
Anyway, on a recent visit to the iMomoko site, I found some beautiful (and strange) things very much in Eastern style; I am such a magpie so I always go for the pretty stuff. I gave the horse oil a miss though. Ew. And the Rub Me Tender Fog Peeling Mask? Passed on that, too. Some things just don’t translate. One brand I do keep my eye on is Etude House who make things that look cute and interesting, like these MiniMe Fragrances:
They’re really child-like but that doesn’t stop me wanting one!
