Muguet de Guerlain

I love the whole concept of this expensive limited edition. In France, on the first of May it is tradition to give Lily of the Valley (Muguet) to loved ones, so Guerlain’s play on this theme is to offer a very limited quantity of these beautiful bottles adorned with a jewellery piece of a green leaf with a tiny pearly bell by Gripoix. It will only be on sale at Harrods on 1st of May and it is very limited (although I believe you can order ahead but only actually purchase on that day). It’s £355. I love Lily of The Valley – both the fragrance and the flowers – so it couldn’t be more appealing.

I wish I was rich enough to buy that for Mum :)

It’s gorgeous, though way out of my price range. I love the bottle, and I’m also a big fan of lily of the valley.

The 2011 was amazing, and I have high hopes for 2012. If you can get past the price, it is lovely.
