So, my love affair with Melvita continues. I took the Rose Nectar Fresh Micellar Water on holiday with me to give it a proper trial, and as expected, it is absolutely lovely. A gorgeously gentle water that is very effective in cleansing away make up and grime. I’d stop short of saying that it will tackle waterproof mascara, but it dealt very well with foundation and eye colours. The scent is very rosy (if you don’t like a strongly scented cleanser, then steer clear) which I like a lot – if you love the smell of roses, it really brings something the otherwise quite dull task of removing make up. Some micellars (oil in water) can dehydrate the skin a bit and are better suited to oily skin, but I found that this one kept my skin very nicely balanced while still making it feel fresh – perfect for a summer cleansing routine. At £14.50, with organic credentials as long as your shopping list, it’s a keeper! Find it here: www.melvita.co.uk
