NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, £18.
This product is a little genius.. I just apply a tiny amount over my lid and it ensures that what follows stays absolutely put. It’s kind of miraculous to use a high pigment product that doesn’t wander around the eye although it does very much wander without Smudge Proof! It lasts nearly forever as well. It’s HERE
Bourjois Little Round Pot Intense in 10 (Black) £6.99.
This is also worth its weight in gold; a really strong black powder that I apply with a flat definer brush (MAC have a good one) as close to the upper lash line as I can get it. I use dabbing motions rather than a sweep across and get a very powerful but tidy line. It’s made to twice the strength of normal eye make up and again, using it as a liner means I won’t run out any time soon.. I’ve still barely broken the surface. I put an even finer line under my lower lash line with a fan brush and that’s it. Other than a little sweep of mascara for the lower lashes (I have lash extensions in the top ones) I am completely done.

I’d love to try the NARS primer, especially since I think Too Faced Shadow Insurance is around the same price now anyway.
I have heard many good things about that NARS primer, and I know a lot of bloggers prefer it to UDPP. Personally UDPP works for me, but the next time it goes gunky I will get a NARS one!
Right, now I just need to find a fan brush.
i cant live without my NARS primer too. My eyelids are like extra greasy and oily during the day so this just saves my eye make-up from creasing and sliding down my face. Definitley an essential for me!

I’ve been using the Nars primer for around 2 years now, got it free at CEW but had to buy 2 more since. 3 tubes in 2 years is amazing considering I wear eye shadow everyday, it’s the best one out there!
Apparently Korean celebrities favour this type of look as well…just eyeliner all the way.
