Another deliciously packaged offering from TonyMoly; I’m slightly obsessed with this brand since I saw it in the flesh in Hong Kong. I did a little site browsing (very slow and painful, as it happens) and came across the reason why the brand is so named. They say TonyMoly is a combination of an English word, Tony, which means ‘stylish’ and a Japanese word ‘Moly’ which means to box something.. so loosely translated it means to package something stylishly. But, where did they get that English translation? I’ve done a quick on-line check and to my astonishment tony is listed as meaning stylish. Well, who knew?
