I recently tried a very new and very different hair dye and am one of the first people to do so. It was my first time using a permanent dye so, er, kind of terrifying. But, I’ve got to say it… it’s the best thing I’ve ever done to my hair. Now, I hate an embargo, but speaking to the brand, I get it that in this case they don’t want competitors to see it just yet, so I will have to hold fire on what it is.. but I can’t stop you guessing of course 
But, I will tell you that it is the game-changer that the dye market has been waiting for. My hair has never been in such good condition (and I’m not imagining it.. I had a couple of hairdressers check the condition of my hair and they both professed it to be in excellent condition and normally every single hairdresser pronounces it rather dry). So, just this little teaser for now with pack shyly hiding behind the flower pots, but I promise, it’s a good one.

I’m taking the plunge from blonde to dark auburn/brown next week, so I’m super interested to hear in any hair dye products that will actually be good for my hair!
I can definitely make out the brand’s logo on the box. French, mass market haircare and skincare… Are we not supposed to be able to guess the brand?

Ooooooh – is this the self-dye version of l’oreal’s INOA salon dyes. If so I am actually bloody excited as have never had such shiny, healthy hair with glowing colour as when had my hair dyed with that system. So in that case it definitely is going to be l’oreal/l’oreal owned companies that bring the shelf version 1st. Hoorah and hooray – this will (hopefully) save me a fortune
