Very excited to have samples now of Dior Grand Bal, for Christmas 2012. I’m genuinely in love with the lot of it; there isn’t one single thing I don’t want to wear right now.
Starting with the Grand Bal Palette, if you remember that the whole theme of Grand Bal is about lavish parties and balls, the palette references dance cards hence the little pen that not only closes the palette by acting as a wedge but contains buttery soft black khol.

So that’s the Grand Bal Palette.. next up a couple of the nail polishes; Diorling is a shimmering gold and Marilyn is a raspberry-ish red. Both are swatched over a nude shade.

Another star feature of the collection is the pair of Gold Crystal Lashes below. They’re self-adhesive so no need for glue.
I’ll get swatching the rest later in the week.
Although I wouldn’t actually use it, that is a beautiful palette!
The palette looks gorgeous! The shimmer looks great and the color pay off really stands out.
