Frontcover Autumn/Winter 2012

I like everything about Frontcover – whether you are just starting out on a make-up journey and need step-by-step instructions or if you’re simply a make-up lover who wants one easy stop for looks, I’m not sure you can do much better than this. The sets are ageless for a start – you can be 13 or 103 and still there will be something that is useful – and suit pretty well all skin-tones. Pricing is also good, given the quality.

I’ve written before about Frontcover being mercilessly copied by other brands – it’s a stellar example of how cut-throat the beauty industry is and how easy it is for a small brand to be completely submerged by a bigger one. The thing Frontcover have on their side is an army of fans that aren’t going to be swayed away by a cheaper price and inferior product even if it looks exactly the same. I’ll have some examples of this coming up later in the autumn – they’re quite shocking really in their blatent copying – but for now, the highlights of Frontcover Autumn/Winter 2012 are below.

Frontcover Party Queen, £35
Frontcover True Colours, £25

Frontcover Desk to Date, £16
