Daily Make Up

I quite often get asked to show what’s in my day to day make-up bag: well, here it is. I love nude looks so the daily routine is Etat Pur LW Hyaluronic Acid, over which I usually use Airbase Primer (not always – sometimes I’m lazy). If I’ve got meetings, I use eye drops to brighten my eyes; currently it’s Murine, but not always because black khol (Bourjois) always looks better against bright, white eyes. My base is L’Oreal Lumi Magique because it’s the perfect shade for me at the moment, although over the winter my tone will change so I’ll swap for something else. I just find it’s as good as any premium foundation and gives an excellent level of coverage. I’ve been hooked on the Origins GinZing Brightening Cream Eye Shadows since I got them, and I find that Sugar Peach is the perfect colour for opening up the eye area. I always line my lids with Bourjois Intuitive Liner for fool proof, close to the lash lines and if my dark circles are really terrible (although I usually just ignore them), I use Diorskin Nude Hydrating Concealer – one of the few that doesn’t cake or look heavy.
I am still addicted to MAC Sculpting Cream in Pure Sculpt as a blush which I use with Daniel Sandler’s brilliant Waterbrush, and finish with Dior Addict Extreme in Incognito (but always keep Lanolips at hand).
So that’s what makes my face up every day! Are any of your favourites in there?

Since my favourite-for-years foundation, Max Factor, is discontinuing Second Skin and I don’t like the All Day Flawless that is replacing it, I’m going to give your L’Oreal Lumi Magique a try. I already have and really like their Nude Magique BB cream (not dry as a bone and not brown! Huzzah!).

I’ve never tried Murine eye drops, and those are a make up bag must have for me too. But I will now. I usually stock up on a brand called Visine when I get the chance to make a trip back to Canada. That’s not terribly practical though.

    Thanks for the snoop!
