I’m such a collector.. it’s obviously in my genes, but my new collecting crush is for make-up factices. I haven’t got very far with only two, but give me time. A factice is something artificial, and above is a palette exactly the same as the real thing but…

…it’s not real. The make-up inside is false.. presumably some kind of resin or plastic and these are used for photography. I think they’re really cool.. no use to anyone of course, post photography, but I love them.

If you look up close, you can really see that there is no ‘life’ in the make-up.

This is nice! I used to collect fragrance factices but a few years ago gave them away due to lack of space. Seeing this makes me regret that decision.
