NARS Spring 2013 Color Collection group shot
It’s impossible to be disappointed with this very vibrant spring 2013 collection from NARS. After the Warhol collection, I wondered what could possibly be next – the above is it! I love the golden lip pencil (Cytherie) – yellow-gold is really hard to wear but I can see myself popping it over stronger colours for a sheen with a difference. I am instantly drawn to the orange/red eyeshadow (Persia), too.. I cannot wait to wear that with tons of black liner! *NB see my blooper below..
Stella Tennant for NARS SS13
Plus, they’ve got beautiful Stella Tennant modelling the look. Usually, I’m not bothered by models for campaigns but she just looks so edgy and dramatic – and over 18!
The range will hit counters 2nd February.
NB: My bad.. I have mis-read the press release – the gold liner is in fact for eyes and is called Corcovado, and the blush is called Seduction. Thanks to commentor Casey for bringing this to my attention.

Just what we need lots of COLOUR! I feel like i have been in hibernation for so long and looking at all these lovely NARS colours makes me want Spring to hurry up. I need colour in my life
I love some aspects of this collection but the blush is a bit too wintery for a spring collection in my opinion. Would have been a lovely fall/winter colour! And although the model is gorgeous, over 18 and very edgy, she still needs a few burgers. One of my bug bearers of the beauty/fashion industry is how they are aim to empower woman, yet convince us that to achieve this we need to rival a skeleton!
