Melvita Apicosma Ultra-Nourishing Cream

Gosh, this is a lovely face cream! I’m always a little wary of things with honey in them as I can’t bear the smell or taste of it. The lip balm in this range is really honey-ish – obviously if you love honey, that’s a bonus. However, this skin cream really does get to grips with dryness with no honey smell that I can tell, even though it’s got three types of honey in it; Thyme, Acacia and Orange Blossom. Along  with that, there is also Royal Jelly and Argan oil, making it a force to be reckoned with on the moisturising front.

You might remember when Royal Jelly was *the* ingredient – not only for skin care but as a supplement too.. I’m not sure why it fell out of favour exactly, but it’s nice to see it back, especially in such a gorgeous formula. Honey, apparently, revitalises skin metabolism for better circulation of oxygen and nutrients. Whatever, without feeling like its weighing your complexion down or overloading with gunk, Apicosma Ultra-Nourishing Cream really does pack a nourishing punch.

You can find it HERE for £27.

I’m glad you’ve said you’re not a fan of the taste/smell of honey as neither am I, yet admitting that seems to be blasphemous when it comes to talking about beauty as apparently we’re all supposed to gush over it. I quite like it in skincare, but not due to it’s taste or scent. Cream sounds lovely xx
