I don’t know this range at all, but am obsessed with how Japanese and Korean brands package their products. The Dodo range is a great example of my adage – put a bird on it (not literally a bird, but something – anything – that makes your packaging look more beautiful or more exciting than its competitors). It doesn’t seem to be a particularly expensive brand but just adding those flowers on the polish bottle would have me reaching for it because of how pretty it looks.
I have no clue what Tearball powder could possibly be – I’m guessing a similar thing to Guerlain Meteorites, but again, the packaging has made me look twice even though I have no clue what the product actually is.
Another mystery here.. but if you want shiny under-eyes, who knew? It doesn’t really matter what’s in it – it’s the packaging that’s calling my name.
As always, they had me at Hello!
Nosing round sites from other countries is always insightful and interesting and I spend a lot of time doing it. What do you think? Does packaging matter to you; do you buy with your eyes first and your head second? Would love to know.

Could that powder box be any more beautiful?!
Love me some good packaging..I’m going to have to check this out soon. Wonderful post
Some of the Asian markets are heavily into what they call “kawaii”, meaning cute, aren’t they. I can’t say that packaging isn’t important to me, but if the product is crap, I don’t care how pretty it’s been wrapped up. Some of us don’t have the budget to waste on style with no substance. And I sound exactly like my mother ……
I love browsing Japanese and Korean beauty supplies and Ebay. They have the cutest products. I need to purchase some esp Korean makeup I have heard some great reviews.
