Lancome Hypnose Palette
Lancome Hypnose Palette

It seems a while since Lancome gave us good palette, but the new selection at Selfridges are really stylish. This (and three other colour-ways) have just landed at £37 each. This one is Bain de Minuit – a blue smoky when it’s done right is just sensational – but there is also Mon Smoky, a grey and pink colourway, Vert Glamour in a selection of green tones and Violet Magique – purples.

For some reason these seem old-fashioned, but in a good way.. I’m looking at this thinking, ‘remember when palettes used to be like this’. It’s just given me a bit of a nostalgic glamour shot and I love them. However, there are also a more vibrant selection of palettes – the Doll Eyes Palettes and the colours are more electrified and contemporary.

PS: A make-up artist from Lancome has contacted me to say that the brushes used in these palettes are actually magnetic so pick up colour really, really well.

The Doll Eyes palette include the one above, Eclat Azure, and Menthe A L’O (vibrant aqua and green) and Reflet d’Amethyste in violets. You can find them HERE.

Lancome has a range of Gloss In Love launching in May.. I’ll post on those later in the week, but they look divine.
