Now that the sunshine is here, I’ve got to flag up my favourite of all self-tanners, Melvita Pro Sun, which is DHA free. I have never had one single streak with this gentle progressive tan and it looks completely natural.
It works exceptionally well on my olive skin tone although if you are very, very pale it won’t work quite as well as it relies on some melanin in the skin already. I don’t often use full-on self tans – despite their streak free promises I always end up with some patches so this gradual tan is the ideal option for me to give a light sun kissed look. I bought this following the last time you mentioned it a few weeks ago and have been absolutely delighted with it. It smells a little of caramelised sugar (yum), is highly moisturising and as you say, streak free. After 5 continuous days of use I would say that it was starting to look a bit orange, so I stopped and it lasted about 5 days which is at least as good as traditional self tanning lotions on me.
