Babyliss Secret Curl
BaByliss Curl Secret

Okay, so here it is.. the consumer version of the BaByliss Pro Perfect Curl – BaByliss Curl Secret! It’s got the same technology as the Pro Curl which I reviewed HERE on BBB a while ago and that is a thing of brilliance! It really does give amazing curls and it is so simple to use.

The key differences for Babyliss Curl Secret for consumers are that the curler will be available on the high street and it’s cheaper that the Pro, plus it has two heat settings instead of three. There’s a larger gap round the curl chamber so that it’s not so fiddly (hair stylists are used to doing things intricately; for home use it’s better to have functionality so anyone can use it easily). Basically, to re-cap, it works by drawing a strand of hair into the curl chamber where it is heated from all sides – and that’s it! It leaves the most lovely loose ringlet curls. I used it on a friend with very long hair from about the mid-section downwards and it looked absolutely lovely.

More importantly, it’s got beep alerts to let you know when your hair has been in the chamber long enough.. just wait for the beep and release. The BaByliss Curl Secret will launch for £120 in July at Boots, Argos, and very.co.uk and it’s definitely worth saving your pennies for if you like curling your hair. Probably the most impressive thing is that you can make the waves look very natural for a relaxed look or you can style it up a bit for tighter, more defined curls if you want to. Watch out for introductory offers on this.. I am pretty sure there will be some so I’ll keep an eye out and alert on launch day.
