Here’s a little look at the newest sister in the Benefit cheek line-up, Rockateur. Apparently it comes up as a rose-gold, so very flattering on post-holiday skin. It’s launching in September for £23.50. However, friends at Beaut.ie have discovered that it’s not quite all it seems, with there being far less actual content (weight wise) to Rockateur than previous boxed face powders and yet it is still the same price. You can read the Beaut.ie review HERE. My conclusion is the same as Beaut.ie; it’s not like Benefit at all to do this kind of thing. I’m wondering if possibly the ingredients to get the rose-gold effect are more costly?
Anyway, moving on, I just spotted that Benefit have an SPF to add to their line-up. Dream Screen – great name! No further news on that yet, but as ever, I’ll keep you posted.

Looks and sounds beautiful.
It’s a shame there isn’t as much product as the others.

How exciting! I love their little boxed blushers! X
I agree that this may be due to costly ingredients. Either way, as pretty as it may be, that’s way too much to pay!
Thank you for these posts! I love to see what products are being released! 🙂

I read the review on http://www.beaut.ie and they have since done a follow up post. As a huge Benefit fan I am really disappointed with this. Putting it in the same size boxes also makes it “look” like you’re getting the same as the other products.
Reading my comment again, I just want to clarify that I am disappointed with what Benefit have done here in cutting the size of the product – not beaut.ie’s reviews! 🙂 Oops!
I’m annoyed at the lack of product in it! I read it on beaut.ie – http://beaut.ie/2013/benefit-rockanteur/
