I’m totally a sucker for beautiful packaging, and Japanese brand, Visee, is so impressive for the ornate detailing of their palettes.
It reminds me of Anna Sui in style – and may very well be the same manufacturer. Visee is stocked on Imomoko (HERE) but they don’t have the above in yet and I imagine it’s because they’re so new.
I’ve been speaking at a conference over the past couple of days and one hot topic was the influence of Asian brands in the British market. I think its safe to say that we are heavily influenced now by Asian skin care and beauty – just think of the myriad of BB and CC creams that we have at our disposal, as well as the emerging softening waters – I’d put money on it that within a couple of years, softening waters will be as well embedded into our beauty routines as BB creams now are. Let’s hope we can get a bit of packaging influence going as well!

That’s the cutest packaging ever!! Hopefully they become available on imomoko so I can get my hands on some. Also, talk to us more about this softening water thing! I’ve never heard of it.
Visee has came out with the whole new range in the new pretty packaging this month, which I haven’t tried yet but have been very curious about. I’ve just written about Japanese skincare on my blog today. I’m living in Tokyo and am Japanese, and recently I’m so impressed with Japanese beauty bits.

I love the packaging. Very beautiful x
Visée new line is already available on Ichibankao 😉
the eye palette is on the site now. Gorgeous. Do you get stung on customs charges ordering from here?
I didn’t but I would double check x
I bought one of the blush/bronzers last week. (I’m in Japan.) Kose is a drugstore brand so the packaging is actually quite heavy plastic. The case looks much nicer in your photo than in real life, but the product is nice.
The eye shadows are REALLY shiny, so if you are over 30, I wouldn’t go for those 🙂
The waterproof eyeliners in this range are excellent and you won’t get them off without an oil – certainly no smudges from them. And another great thing is the eyebrow pencil with a ‘crayon’ type pen on one end, and a ‘powder’ pen on the other.
