I’m not going to cover this too much as it’s a bit early (although it launches in January) so it’s just my initial impressions from the press launch which was yesterday.

First up, it’s pink! Very, very pink… but not in a sweet and cloying way, more fresh and upbeat. The collection is called OverRose (a play on the word overdose). Nicolas Degennes, Make-up and Artistic Director for Givenchy was there, explaining the range – in particular, the Ombre Couture Cream Eyeshadows (launching separately in February) which are a complete dream.

The rose coloured mascara is going to be interesting! I haven’t tried it yet, but Noir Couture Rose Pulsion is the thing, I think, that will set pulses racing in beauty world. The Prismissme Euphoric Pink is for eyes and lips in matte textures.

The lipstick looks almost neon, but actually it is iridescent and uses reactive pigments to change colour on the lip.

I genuinely love this collection – it’s so happy!
