This doesn’t launch til March next year, but mark your 2014 diaries because it’s a good one! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and am seriously impressed – it’s hard not to use it every day.
The bottom line of how it works is the formula of boswellic acid, magnesium and stabilized 10% Vitamin C in a silica/glyderide matrix that is only activated by adding water. So, you massage the formula in (the bottle is cool – that domed top is a rubber squeezer that sends out one perfect face-full from the bottom end) and it feels a little gritty and abrasive – that’s the exfoliating part. Then you add a tiny bit of water which activates the fresh Vitamin C which acts as the brightening and revitalizing part.
V-Cense is a super-clever formula; the immediate result is brighter and softer skin that looks infinitely better. I think it’s best for day time use because adding your foundation to a post V-Cense Flash makes it look spectacular – smooth and flawless, and I don’t say that lightly.
There are longer term benefits too, but I always think they’re hard to quantify and I haven’t been using it long enough to say whether it noticably reduces UV damage or evens out tone. It will cost £30.
This is a future cult product that’s going to win every beauty award in the book so keep your eyes peeled!
