Fizzy Wash
Fizzy Wash

To give Nude Skincare Fizzy Powder Wash its full name, it’s Nude Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash – whew – I’m surprised there’s a label big enough! I know that we’ve seen several add-water-to-powder washes in recent times (Indeed, for a start), but this one is really a little bit special with coconut oil, acai berry oil, rosehip seeds and vitamin c. Given the amount of oil, it doesn’t feel at all oily, but what it does do is give skin omegas 3, 6 and 9, all of which are exceptional for the skin.

What I have here is a lab sample, so I’m not showing the bottle until its properly dressed and looking its best, but I’ve put it to the test. You need a small amount of grains (half a teaspoon, maybe) to which you add just a couple of drops of water. It fizzes expands into the palm of your hand into a tight and very soft foam – if you’ve used a grain to foam cleanser before, think again, this really is up a level – and massage it into your face. It’s not a cleanser, but more a softening exfoliant; it’s very slightly grainy to the touch.

It seems strange to say that there are oils in this, when it’s a dry powder, but they’re diffused onto the powder to coat each tiny grain. If you know the Nude range at all, then you’ll know that Nude Skincare Fizzy Powder Wash will contain no nasties at all. The price at launch (August, I think) will be £38.

This one is love at first use!
