Solid Oil
Solid Oil

It’s totally love at first use with The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil, launching on 13th August. My skin loves argan oil no matter what (so does my hair, for that matter) so this is absolutely perfect as a quick dry skin fix. Argan is rich in essential fatty acids and super nourishing – you can’t go wrong with it, really.

I’ve been using The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil on my cuticles and on my shins (I don’t get a lot of dryness, but sometimes it’s good to do a moisture infusion so that it stays that way), and it leaves a beautiful sheen (not so handy on the cuticles!). I even like the smell – I don’t know what actual argan oil smells like to be honest, but the scent is quite tropical – almost coconut but not quite. I should point out that actual argan oil appears quite a long way down the ingredient list – preceeded by Carnauba wax, vegetable oil, shea butter and beeswax which suggests that the argan is not the main ingredient doing the job. However, since it is actually doing a great job of hydrating, I’m not complaining, although a pure solid argan would be the stuff of my dreams.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil launches with a full range (including bubble bath, body oil, body scrub) in two week’s time. It’s definitely a good one.
